The Red Wing Work Chukka is one of a casual yet rugged appearance, offering a boot that has exceptional attention to detail, as well as being a durable and comfortable boot. The Work Chukka style also incorporates the use of a white Euro-Traction Tred Sole which gives the boots their distinguished Red Wing look.
With their Goodyear Welt construction, sensational leather uppers and soft outsole, these boots have long been favoured by those whose work involves working indoors. Initially a favourite amongst other craftsman, e.g. carpenters, the Red Wing Work Chukka provided them with a boot of unique properties, ideal for indoor work. Moreover, the durable leather upper and sole allows for a boot that is long-lasting and true to the heritage of Red Wing.
Red Wing Work Chukka's are available in various styles, including:
Work Chukka Style 3145 – constructed using a Burnt Orange Muleskinner leather, this boot has an upper that is appealing to the eye and has a unique texture. This style offers the wearer a unique colour that takes an art to achieve, adding to the distinguishing features of Red Wing. The leather is incredibly durable and can be maintained easily using mink oil or nubuck/suede cleaner.
Work Chukka Style 3141 – a soft, mellow leather in the form of Briar Oil Slick leather is used for the upper of this style. Furthermore, once waxed and oiled, this leather has features that allow it to stand out from the crowd, whilst being water, stain and perspiration resistant.
Work Chukka Style 3140 – the natural appearance of this style is derived from the use of Oro-iginal leather which has a soft texture that is deceivingly hardy, being water, stain and perspiration resistant. The exceptional features of this leather can be preserved using boot oil and leather protector.
