In order to continue to provide their customers with shoes of exceptional quality, Anatomic & Co employ the use of various components and technologies within their Anatomic Gel Technology.

The Uppers of Anatomic Gel Shoes:

To allow for the comfort of their shoes, and for any perspiration to be absorbed to retain a healthy, odour-free environment for the feet, Anatomic & Co use leather uppers that are made from 100% bovine full-grained leather. This type of leather also provides a soft, silky texture that is exclusively available to Anatomic Gel Technology from a tannery in Brazil. To achieve the distinguished texture and colour of the shoes, they will be naturally treated to give their exceptional appearance.

The Lining of Anatomic Gel Shoes:

Shearling, Sheep Skin is used within Anatomic Gel shoes to give them their warmth and breathability.

The Insoles of Anatomic Gel Shoes:

A leather hinged insole is used within their shoes to allow for a cushioned, flexible shoe that moves with the foot without breaking, providing continued comfort throughout the day. This insole is divided up into a total of four components:

• A double layer of polyurethane foam which gives the shoe a memory, allowing it to return to its original shape after wear.

• Double layer of latex within this polyurethane layer which gives the insole additional resistance.

• Antibacterial fabric to maintain a healthy environment for the foot.

• Layer of sheepskin for insulation and comfort.

Rubber Gel Sole of Anatomic Gel Shoes:

The specialised rubber gel sole is made from a mixture of rubber and a special gel, which provides the shoes with flexibility and resistance for comfortable walking with non-slip properties. Furthermore, the rubber sole manufacturer responsible for producing these high-quality soles is committed to all environmental issues and recycles any waste components leftover from production.

Polyurethane Gel Sole in Anatomic Gel Shoes:

This type of sole is incredibly light, flexible and versatile whilst also been durable.

Thread in Anatomic Gel Shoes:

Designed specifically for the Anatomic Gel Shoe range, the thread used is one of exceptional quality, being discolouration resistant and waxed to help reduce any penetration of water.

Construction of Anatomic Gel Shoes:

All of Anatomic & Co.'s shoes are stitched using the McKay method, where they are 100% stitched through using the specialised sewing machines designed by Anatomic & Co to meet all of their specific design criteria.

The Welt of Anatomic Gel Shoes:

To make Anatomic Gel Shoes as comfortable as customers expect, Anatomic & Co. use a leather welting technique that makes them incredibly flexible, exceptionally comfortable as well as having an attractive appearance. [Some styles of Anatomic Gel Shoes are not welted].
