Continuing the exceptional evolution of their designs with each season of the Audley footwear brand, Tim and Fiona Slack have created a seasonal collection of incredible elegant and unique qualities.
For Spring/Summer 2011, Audley introduce an explosion of colours and unusual materials, mirroring the impulsiveness of the footwear brand. The colours reflect the vibrant colours associated with summer, with the blocks of colour also reflecting the architectural theme that runs through the Audley brand.
The unusual shapes and structures of this collection is something Tim and Fiona have always prided their brand on, admitting their architectural influences dominate many of their designs. However, despite the more masculine association with architecture, they retain an unconventional femininity within their designs.
There is also an important focus upon the ankle, with the emphasis drawn here through the use of ankle straps and bracelets. This continues the unlimited sensation surrounding the brand, as shapes, colours, prints and comfort are continually exceeded by Audley.
Also of note are the open toe booties, an important style within the trends of Spring/Summer 2011, with both platform and leather usage. The high front sandal also offers a sophisticated alternative with its cut outs and decorative designs; with their numerous strap designs from interwoven to elastic band straps they provide fantastically fashionable sandals for those looking for that little something extra.
With the use of exceptional details from the straps to colours used, Audley have created a vibrant, exciting collection for Spring/Summer 2011; embracing the trend yet ensuring their brand qualities are continued.
