About.com have announced that the winner of their prestigious Readers' Choice Awards for 'Best Golf Shoes Brand' is Ecco. Also noted within the award was Ecco's Golf Street collection with its trainer-like qualities offering wearers a golf shoe that doesn't look entirely like a golf shoe. Thanks to Freddie Couples debut appearance in the Ecco Golf Street with an orange sole, Ecco Golf has gone from strength to strength.
About.com is a reputable website in itself, being part of The New York Times Company and one of the world's top-20 most trafficked websites. Therefore, this award has much prestige, recognising the high-quality of Ecco, praising its contemporary styles and colours whilst all the time maintaining their support and comfort.
Ecco received nearly half of all the votes, finishing ahead of Nike, FootJoy and Adidas to claim the award. About.com also highlighted their new Biom range which looks set to storm the golfing world this season.
