Since his famous appearance in Ecco Golf Street's in 2010, Couples has flung Ecco Golf Shoes into the spotlight, for their innovative, modern styles of golf shoes. Therefore, the extension of their endorsement agreement with Fred Couples has been proudly announced this week, a wonderful way for them to celebrate the one year anniversary of Ecco Golf Street. Couples will continue to wear the Golf Street style on course, whilst also wearing the Ecco logo on his headwear.
With his global success, almost enabling him to become the 'face' of Ecco Golf Street, he will also be featured in the advertising initiatives and global marketing for Ecco Golf. Speaking about this continued collaboration, Couples says:

His pride of wearing Ecco's no doubt comes from his sensational golfing success in 2010 when he became the first player to win three of the first four of his Champions Tour events. He also went on to grab a fourth title before being honoured as the Byron Nelson Award winner and Champions Tour Rookie of the Year.
Evidently his success gained a lot of attention from players and fans alike, with his 66 score in the first round, racing him into the lead, but people were also fascinated by why he was choosing to wear on his feet. The hilly, wet conditions in which the players were playing didn't seem to suit the footwear that Couples was wearing, as he appeared sockless, wearing a trainer-like shoe. These were the new Ecco Golf Street range, providing Couples with shoes that allowed him to wander from his house and onto the golf course.
