Last weekend Ecco staff player, Thomas Bjorn, successfully claimed a victory at the PGA European Tour's Omega European Masters and Ecco have confirmed that he was wearing their exceptional World Class GTX golf shoes.
Playing at the Switzerland golf club of Crans-sur-Sierre in Crans Montana, Bjorn clinched his victory in the final round with a fantastic display of golf, scoring with an eagle and nine birdies. He adds this latest victory to his list, with it becoming the 13th in his career.
Speaking about his victory, Thomas Bjorn commented:
“Golf feels pretty easy at the moment but that's not always the case...Any time you go out and shoot 62 on Sunday you have got to be delighted.”
At 40 years old, Bjorn is arguably one of the best Danish golfers in history, as this latest win takes him to 59th position in the Official World Golf Ranking and 7th in the Race to Dubia rankings.
It also another victory for Ecco who have a growing list of prestigious staff players including Fred Couples, Stuart Appleby, Graeme McDowell and Jennifer Johnson; a testimony to the clear high standard of golf shoes that Ecco continue to produce.
