Ness is one of the latest brands to successfully push the fashion boundaries with their contemporary twists injected into the more traditional of designs. Founded in Edinburgh in 1996, Ness use all of the traditional aspects of their home country with Scottish tartan and kilt influences, but they have reinvented these in more conventional styles, bringing them promptly into the 21st Century.
The traditional tartan style one would associate with Scotland runs through their designs but bold colours have been injected into it; giving what would normally be a traditional handbag much more vibrancy and style. Bold colours are very on-trend and Ness have them in bucket loads, but the beauty of their collections is the fact that they don't forget their heritage.
Successfully merging the classic with the contemporary, Ness retain their country's traditions in classic handbag styles including the grab bag and satchel.
